Ray Gerdsen with The Yellow Jackets !

Something un-christmas (and warm) to close this week folks !
Ray Gerdsen with The Yellow Jackets produced records with a nice South Louisiana fell and indeed show the rocking side of swamp-pop music at its best !
(‘Bye Bye Baby’ is a real barnstormer while ‘Fatty Hattie’ is definitely inspired by Larry Williams’s ‘Bony Moronie’)
And Gardsen fronted the Yellow Jackets who have the slower paced blues instrumental ‘Chickee Town Rock’ – there is a great strolling mood on this !
