Doktor Combover !




Hello y’all.

Since the whole damn world knows that your host is an
international superstar,
I’m gonna give some credits to an other super-freaky-underground- sleazy band.

From their roots working the strip joints of Las Vegas, Doktor Combover perfected their raw and dirty instrumental sleaze, pumpin' out ass shakin' grooves for the topless dancers' filthy gyrations. Their reputation as the dirtiest and most notorious combo on the strip led to their acclaimed residency at Burlesque joint 'The Go-Go Cage'. Over-indulging in a downright salacious playboy lifestyle resulted in the boys being run out of town by mobsters after running up massive gambling debts. Frantically looking for a new home they chose to flee overseas to Liverpool in England, attracted to its NorthWestCoast scene,its sunny climate and the city's fine surfing action on its world famous River Mersey. The Combover boys saw that this ledgendary city desperately needed a hot sleaze injection due to decades of jangly middle-of-the-road blandness, they spread their filthy gospel all over the city and further affield.
Soon bands from all over the globe such as The 5,6,7,8's on hearing of the Combover's relocation, flocked to Liverpool begging the boys to open up for them.Such was the citys' need for regular celebrations of sleaze, Doktor Combover opened their own club night.Hooking up with talented beatnik artist Howard Be Thy Name they chose the stylish 50's decor of the Magnet club to host the nostalgically named, The Go-Go Cage. At these wild shindigs you shriek in horror at the dreaded wheel of fortune that awaits you at the entrance!!! Witness the crowd jerk,shake and vibrate to the guest bands and Combover Soundsystem DJ's!!! Drool with excitement at the beautiful burlesque dancers!!! Gasp in amazement at the mondo lysergic projections, and get down and dirty to the stompin' dance floor action of residents Doktor Combover !!!

By the way, they just put out their own stuff. It’s sold in a few shops and directly from them by post or at gigs !

They put on parties in Liverpool,called 'The Go-Go Cage' and the next one is on Saturday June 10th at The Magnet plus guest band DOM NEWTON as 'The Preacher', spreading hell fire and damnation and healing people with the power of blues music!!!

Plus Buxotic Burlesque dancers HEDY HEIGHTS and KITTY BANG-BANG.
