Actually "Stood Up" was not written by Dennis Herrold. It is credited to ERMA Herrold, and a co-writer named Willis ("Dub") Dickerson. This duo also wrote "Travelin' Man" which was a hit for Rick Nelson.

Notice on the image of the 45, "Hip Hip Baby" was written by... "W. Dickerson! coincidence? I think not! So, was Erma Herrold Dennis' mother? sister? wife? What was her relationship with "Dub?"

I would be interested in any info about Dennis Herrold. My name is D. Herrold, and I play guitar and sing.
